OÜ Foilpoint was founded in 2001. 2001-2002. In 2016, we were engaged in the sale of spare parts for trucks and trailers to end users.
In 2003, we rented office space on Kadaka road in Tallinn and opened a truck and trailer repair shop in Männik, near Tallinn, where we carried out truck and trailer bodywork and undercarriage repairs.
At the beginning of 2004, we started negotiations with the European head office of Carrier Transicold Europe, the world’s leading manufacturer of refrigerators for commercial transport, in Paris, to obtain exclusive representation rights on the territory of Estonia. In April 2004, we reached an agreement regarding the mentioned cooperation. As a result of this agreement, we changed the focus of our activities from the entire body work, we specialized in the seller and maintenance of Carrier transport refrigerators, which was accompanied by the reorganization of all the previous personnel, storage, service and other business in accordance with the requirements set by Carrier Transicold Europe (CTE).
The representation agreement with CTE was concluded on 01.12.2004, which gave OÜ Foilpoint the exclusive right to represent Carrier transport refrigerators in Estonia.
01.01.2006. In 2016, we signed a cooperation agreement with Carrier’s container refrigerator unit for container maintenance, installation and repair. Carrier’s global market share in the sea container segment is approximately 98%.
01.01.2007. In 2016, a full warranty and maintenance representative agreement for Carrier container refrigerators was signed, and from November of this year, we are located in a new, modern service center in Sinikivi Tehnopark, Rae municipality, at Sinikivi tee 1. perspective.
In 2011, we started cooperation with the Finnish company EKERI, which produces side-opening trailers.
In 2012, a cooperation agreement was signed with the company Gerd Bär GmbH for the sale of Bär tailgate lifts in Estonia.
In order to offer the customer an even wider complex service, in addition to the sale and repair of refrigerators and tailgates, we also started to offer the customer conversion of commercial vehicles and light vans.
